Messy workflows sucks
Why is it that when you start scaling your workflows in n8n, they start getting messy? At first it's a clean build, easy to maintain. But then you put it into production. What happens next? Well, you of course run into problems you did not think of. So now what you're doing is fixing those problems as they come up. A few rounds of this, and you have created a Frankenstein flow that tries to cover it all. There should of course be an easier way, but truth be told, if you code, you'll run into the same issue. Take a look at META's API and you'll understand pretty fast what a messy codebase looks like. I've run into so many instances where I'm about to use an API from META, and realize that it does not work the way they're talking about. Because a few years ago they made some changes that they did not document. So yeah, this is a running problem. The best way I've figured out to solve this is experience. The more you build, the more you're aware of edge cases and handle them before they come up.

Amazing!!!
It's too late to learn AI
It's too late to learn AI, and if you've been thinking about jumping in now, don't even try. Even if you tried, how could you keep up? A new update every single day, a new feature, a new platform. You can't possibly keep up. Luckily, you don't need to keep up with the latest tech, and some things are worth looking at while others are not. Because at this point AI is everywhere, but that doesn't mean you need to learn how to use it in everything. Focus on learning AI in the fields where it's actually making a difference. Creating ads? Yes, for sure. It's a massive opportunity because it's so manual right now. You have a lot of steps to create one video, and if you can automate that entire process, you'll make a lot of money. Believe me, because I've had people ask me. Or AI in sales. 24/7 agents are sought after because the idea of having someone sell for you at any time sounds great. Or AI for creating content at scale and posting all over social media. These are things people want to pay for. But the main issue with all of these is that they're not easy to automate or solve. I don't even know if it's fully possible, but there are people out there trying right now for sure.

How has it been so far?
I'm all in
Hi Everyone, Hope you are all doing great...really excited to be here. I'm Tarif, a business development professional from Bangladesh with a decade of experience in developing multi-faceted businesses, navigating through complex business negotiations, closing multi-million-dollar deals with international clients. I always had a thing for tech, and I guess that passion drove me to exploring the world of AI automation, which thankfully landed me here, in this thriving AI automation community where I aim to learn all the best tools and strategies from the best of this field. Leveraging my business development skills, I hope to provide AI automations for SMBs that will be simple yet effective to solve the real pain points and help them scale without increasing headcounts, exactly like I'm learning from @Nate Herk. To kick things off, I'm starting with 7 day AIS challenge.

Your background is honestly a massive advantage in this space. A lot of people can build automations, but very few understand business operations, negotiations, and how companies actually make decisions at scale. AI automation becomes way more valuable when it’s tied to real business outcomes instead of just cool workflows. Someone who understands both business development + systems thinking is in a really strong position long term.
