Anyone else find editing the actual bottleneck, not the ideas?
Hi all, does anyone else find editing is the actual bottleneck on Reels, not the ideas or the filming? Cutting silences and filler words out by hand was eating more of my time than either of those. Had Claude Code help me build a small local script that handles the boring part automatically. 1. Record raw footage as normal. 2. Run faster-whisper locally for a transcript (free, no API key, stays on your machine). 3. Use the transcript timestamps to auto-cut dead air and filler words. 4. Burn in captions from the same transcript instead of typing them out separately. Curious if anyone else has automated this part, or if I was just avoiding it longer than I should have.

@Jay Tarzwell Same process then. An editing studio that covers what Opus Clip and Loom do is a big build. Would love to see the process you took to build this and also use it!
Allie K. Miller Just Dropped a Claude Agent Teams Tutorial (And It's Actually Good)
📜 The Signal Allie K. Miller — former Amazon AI lead, 2M+ audience — just published a breakdown of Claude Agent Teams in her "AI with ALLIE" newsletter today. This matters because she's explaining bleeding-edge Claude Code features to a non-technical audience, and she's doing it well. Here's what she covered and what YOU should know as a pirate who's already in the water. ——— ⚓ The Three Ways to Run Multiple Agents Allie breaks down three distinct approaches. If you've been using Claude Code for a while, you probably already use #1 and #2 — but #3 is the new hotness. - Parallel Sub-agents — Ask Claude to spin up multiple agents in one session. Best for tasks that can be split but don't need to talk to each other. - Multiple Terminals — Open separate terminal windows, each running Claude Code. Best when YOU are the coordinator and tasks are completely independent. - Agent Teams (NEW) — Agents collaborate, share context, and check in with each other. Best for complex projects where agents need to coordinate. ——— ⚓ What Agent Teams Actually Are Allie uses a perfect analogy: four families planning a Sedona retreat. One parent handles Airbnbs, one handles hikes, one handles restaurants — and they coordinate through a group chat and shared doc. Agent Teams work the same way: - Team Lead — the orchestrator who divvies out tasks - Teammates — separate agents each owning a piece of the work - Task List — running list of things to get done - Mailbox — how agents communicate with each other (DMs are cheaper than group messages) Key detail she flags: agents do NOT see the full conversation history. They only get the "spawn prompt" from the team lead. So front-load your context. ——— ⚓ How to Enable Agent Teams It's one setting. Add this to your ~/.claude/settings.json: "env": { "CLAUDE_CODE_EXPERIMENTAL_AGENT_TEAMS": "1" } If you already have a settings file (and if you're in this group, you almost certainly do), just add the CLAUDE_CODE_EXPERIMENTAL_AGENT_TEAMS line inside your existing "env" block.

Haven't tried Agent Teams yet, still mostly running parallel subagents. The agents don't see full history, only the spawn prompt point is the one that'll bite people if they don't front-load context properly. Good catch.
Free way around paid AI API credits (for a client project)
Anyone else building an AI feature for a client and immediately hit the "no budget for API credits" problem? Ran into this on a room visualiser I'm building (client uploads a photo of their room, gets an AI preview of what new curtains would look like on their windows). Didn't want to put a card on OpenAI credits for something still in testing, so spent some time finding a free way to do it. 1. Cloudflare Workers AI has a free daily allowance for image models like FLUX.2, no card needed to start. 2. you just need a Cloudflare account ID and an API token, then you're calling the model directly instead of going through a paid provider. 3. keep input images under the provider's size limit (512px on the long edge worked for me), the output still upscales fine. 4. worth checking the provider's data policy too. Cloudflare states it doesn't train on customer content, which mattered since this is client-facing. Not sponsored, just glad it exists. Happy to share the exact setup if anyone's hitting the same wall.
