Welcome to the Supporting Autism Mama Circle 💛
Hi everyone, I’m so glad you’re here. I created the Supporting Autism Mama Circle to be a safe place for parents raising special needs children to connect, share experiences, and support each other. Parenting can feel overwhelming sometimes, and my hope is that this space becomes a little village where we can learn from each other and celebrate the small wins together. Inside this community we’ll talk about things like: • regulation • routines • sensory needs • sleep • creating calmer homes for our children But most importantly, this space is about parents supporting parents. To get started, I’d love to get to know you. Introduce yourself in the comments and share: • Your name • How many children you have • Something your child loves right now I’m so glad you’re here. 💛 Here’s my little family of 6 💕 – Kimberly

Hi I’m Frankie, I have a 5 year old son who was diagnosed with autism at 2. I also have a 1 year old daughter. My son loves all things space, dinosaurs, and animals. He has some difficulty interacting with other children but he shows interest in wanting to play with them :) he also loves build a bear he gets a new one every year. He loves his little sister but sometimes if she cries it can be overwhelming for him and sharing books can make him upset. Here’s a picture of my family
Feeding Therapy at Home
My oldest son eats no solid food.. he lives off of meal replacement shakes. This is how we use feeding therapy in our home to help with some of his sensory aversions. We play with our food A lot In this house! Today he kissed a pancake & touched a blueberry to his teeth! 🎉 What have been your small wins lately?? What other questions do you have about feeding therapy??

Does the fun plates help a lot? My son only has about 6 safe foods he’ll eat and everything else he gets upset and refuses to even look at. I give him the Ella olla supplements to get him some nutrients but I want to try to get him to try more in a way that’s not upsetting for him.
Celebrate the WINS!
