6/8 & Triplet groove examples (Rhythm Hangout follow up)
Following up from a conversation with @Cassie Larson on Friday... Here's Swan Song by Can - https://youtu.be/3VmM8qRRLwU?si=D0d3amMCy013ji2G - an example of a 6/8 groove (a pretty loose one though) that you can practice counting (1,2,3,4,5,6) to. An example of a triplet groove in 4/4 that came to mind is 'Can't Help Falling in Love with You' by Elvis Presley - https://youtu.be/vGJTaP6anOU?si=2d_OalSqAn-CBmjd - this one you can count triplets in 4 (1+a 2+a 3+a 4+a). If anyone in here has some other examples post them in the comments below!

A few classic tracks in 3/4 that i can think of - Nights in White Satin by the Moody Blues - With a Little Help From My Friends by Joe Cocker - My Favorite Things by John Coltrane

@Dave Smith yes, you're right about the shift on the dotted pulse, i like to look at the 3/4 section as being 3:2 (nice to practice and play, in a similar fashion to the accents of the 'America' phrase) and then keep the same pulse (steps) for the samba feel.
