New to DevOps
Hi everyone, I’m currently working as a MERN stack developer, but I’ve recently developed an interest in DevOps and want to move in that direction. Since I’m just starting out, I’m a bit confused about where to begin. Can anyone guide me on: Which tools/skills I should focus on first? Any beginner-friendly resources or tutorials you’d recommend? How I can use my development background to get into DevOps? Thanks a lot for your help!

I would recommed you to take a look on the roadmap.sh page it helps alot https://roadmap.sh/devops - Since you have a developer backgroud You can start Learning one CI/CD pipeline tool (Github actions is my favorite) - Linux basics + containers in case you have not that much experience in this área. - Networking basics (IP ranges, ports, firewalls) - A Cloud provider, AWS, GCP or Azufre are solid options, research your job market or if You have a particular preferencia go for it :) - Kubernetes

Python, it comes in most Linux distros already, which makes it easy to run scripts (besides bash of course), it is compatible and flexible in a lot of different applicatios from small scripts, backend development, AI development, data science work, test automation, IoT and the list goes on, the cherry on top, pretty simple to get into it, a very friendly sintax and lots of online free resources to learn from
Bitnami new License schema
Hello community, I came across the news that Bitnami open source schema is changing for a Lincense model, it may worth the time to read this "Upcoming changes to the Bitnami catalog (effective August 28th, 2025)" issue from Bitnami's Github, it affects Docker images and Helm charts, in case any of the projects you are working on or administrating could be affected by the changes: https://github.com/bitnami/charts/issues/35164

@Sarhan Patel it's going fine, I've been out on PTO, having some rest, and some CKA Cert study :) Practicing imperative commands for creating deployments, pods, services, and so and other cool Kubernetes topics, was also reading about vector databases and RAG for AI
