Sculpting pattern
Hello everyone! I recently tried out this sculpting pattern using leftover materials from a previous tying session, and I’m excited to share it with you. I hope you find it as interesting as I did!

@Andraž Bilmez it depends on how much weight I decide to put on them. Never less than 2 grams. Usually, I rest it on the bottom, then add a couple of strips to bring it up, mend it to make it turn around, and repeat the process. I also use it as an anchor for unweighted streamers.
Update!
Last night brought snow, inspiring me to photograph some of my latest works on a new set. I also want to share my progress with the Goddard caddis; I’ve been struggling with this pattern since I started, but I believe I achieved some nice results this time. I'm eager to hear what you think!

@Lance Kittelthis is for photos only. The ones I use for fishing, I put a drop of head cement on my finger, pass the wings through it, then comb them with a bodkin needle and shape them. This helps a lot with durability.

Shrimp Eyes
I’m curious if anyone has a go to method for making shrimp eyes in bulk!

I bought those small watercolor containers with caps. Placed four of them on the table, filled them with resin in this order: (left to right) clear hard, orange, black, and clear hard again. I then proceed to cut and burn the tips of the mono. I cut a piece of wood and place it at equal distances, same as the containers, then start to dip them from left to right. Cure them, then dip again. This helps me make them in series. It's pretty fast and creates eyes in sequence. The only thing you need to pay attention to is the level of resin inside. The clear containers hold the most, followed by the orange and black which have the least. It takes a little practice, but it's practical.
