Welcome to Actors & Writers - the community where two creative groups come together to dig in and improve their work. ACTORS: a place for you to train instincts, stay sharp and break down text - a description of the scene along with character descriptions will be posted in the group in advance - please submit yourself for reading by commenting on the post WRITERS: a place to bring your latest scene and hear it read, to ask/answer questions and to learn from hearing the piece workshopped - you can submit your scene for workshopping by posting a short description in the group (please include character descriptions!) - please note the session will be led by a director as in a professional setting All facilitated by Florence Bell, director/dramaturg with extensive experience working with new writing. The space is designed to be an inclusive, experimental forum with the same ethos as a professional room; we work collaboratively to get the best out of the script. Hello all, Apologies for the short notice but I've decided to postpone this afternoon's Roundtable to a later date; I'm still in the process of calibrating what this platform will be and I thought it better to go ahead once I have that clear!
