How do you handle clients when they ask for raw footage of their business? I’ve heard both sides of the approach but wonder how you may handle that situation.

Some encouragement for creatives doing this solo. I’ve done three of these so far on my own and they were always challenging and intimidating. Because I’ve only just begun this creative journey a little more than a year ago, there is so much I don’t know. I’ve had to grow in EVERY aspect of filmmaking, essentially learning about audio, lighting, editing, etc. as I go. What I’ve learned so far is that this journey is difficult and uncomfortable but that’s what growth looks like most times. So I’ve determined that I must be going in the right direction, embracing all my failures and creating the best product that I can. I encourage you to do the class, follow their lead and you can make adjustments as you need. This format has really helped guide me to create at my own pace. After the client approved our storyboard concept we moved to production. After a 2 day shoot, 5 locations and filming with a 4 man crew we finally brought the idea to life. Happy with this one!
