Missed Training
Life has hit me hard lately but I tried to get some practice here and there. I’ve been training as much as possible lately even with the tightest time restraints but I’m back 😭 I missed so much but I’m here to continue my consistency and training and see how much I can continue to improve. When life knocks you down, you get back up and hit it harder, right ?

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Do you have kids?
I’ve noticed a lot of parents in this group training not just for themselves… but to be strong, active role models for their children. That’s powerful. If you don’t have kids — think about your parents. What example did they set for you when it came to health, movement, and discipline? Curious to hear your thoughts 👇

I want to be able to chase my children around and them not having to worry about my health early on. They’re honestly my biggest motivation. And watching them follow my steps is even more powerful. My 3 year old is already working on her “handstands” and I love it

Awesome! Hybrid Calisthenics has got to be one of the best calisthenics group ever. You guys have helped me Grow without feeling embarrassed or scared to do something wrong. Constructive critism at its best and I love it. With that being said look what I surprised myself with !! 🤗🤗

After watching this and then watching other videos I realized that I could have had my hands in a better position. BUT as always a win is a win 😮‍💨 this is my first time upside down!! Headstand
For this week I’m gonna change the skill I will be working on from the crow pose to the headstand. The reason for that is because I noticed that I need more practice on my balance and trust . Since I’m starting to understand the headstand more than I did the crow pose I’m going to master this and once I trust myself more and find more of a balance to my body I’ll continue with crow. For now… Can anyone guide me on how NOT to push my hips back . I feel like having the wall causes me to push my body back for safety and support but what’s the trick to keep a straight back ? The core work to get my legs up felt good on this one. My balance is getting better once I get past that part and straightening my body. Thanks in advance . ☺️
