I want to share a unique Somali word that we don't really have in English "Fadhikudirir". βIt literally translates to "fighting while sitting downπ". It describes those long, incredibly passionate political debates people have in tea shops. Even though everyone is just sitting comfortably sipping tea, they are arguing about world events and government policies as if they are on a literal battlefield. βItβs a huge part of our social culture. But I don't why?
