Life & Health Insurance Broker | Medicare Specialist
Hey everyone — I’m Antonia. I’m a licensed life and health broker and Medicare specialist. I focus on helping clients make better decisions before we ever get to quoting. A lot of times the issue isn’t the product — it’s the lack of structure behind how the recommendation is made. Lately I’ve been building out systems to: Review medications and underwriting factors upfront Identify stronger product direction before quoting Create clearer, client-ready recommendations It’s helped me avoid a lot of backtracking and place cases more efficiently. Curious how others here are approaching this —Are you following a set process before quoting, or mostly going case by case?

Hi Antonia, and welcome. My agency uses Sunfire for comparision of MAPD, PDP, Supplement Plans. The tool is great. However, before we can provide a comprehensive, overall comparison to see what fits, where the doctors are in network and how the Rx will be covered a thorough NEADS analysis is necessary. The information we gather in that less than 8 minute conversation is gathered or entered by the customer. Then, the Sunfire Matrix can give the information necessary to guide the customer's decision. I hope this helps.

@Antonia Sevilla The biggest issue is with the prescriptions. I find most people will click the first one that comes up without looking at their actual bottle, dosage and complete name. This creates sometimes misinformation. Most recently I had the annual drug costs to come back at $184K for a drug that I know is covered on the formulary. It was entered incorrectly. Otherwise, those who can use Blaze Lync do very well and make the process much easier.
