This is the first lesson of Modul 4, where we are talking about topics related to apartment, furniture, and living. You learn the first few room names and we review the definite articles (der, die, das) we first saw in Lesson 12, but haven't mused much since. 📝 Look around you and write down the first 3 things that you see in German, including the correct definite article

Many verbs can be used together with objects. For example 'I buy a [object]'. In German, if we want to build sentences with objects, we need to use grammatical cases. We already learned about the Akkusativ in lesson 23, but in this lesson we will look at some verbs that require it, so you can form correct sentences with it. 📝 After finishing the lesson, write a sentence with a verb from this lesson and an akkusativ object that goes together with it.

In German, as in any language, we often talk about what we would like or what we want. How to express that is exactly what we look at in this lesson. 📝 Comment with 'I would like ...' and then something you would like right now

Prices are important, but quantities matter as well. How much of something do you want? How much is in a pack? That's when we use grams, liters, etc. and that's what we talk about in this lesson. 📝 Pick an item (you may chose the same you used for the homework last lesson) and write down how many grams / liters that is. Make a guess if you don't know.

In this lesson you learn how to talk about prices including fractional values, such as 1.20 Euros. Knowing how to talk about this will come in handy whenever you go buy something in Germany :) 📝 What item do you buy most often? Look up what that is in German and also what it's price would be in Euros (by converting the price from you home currency to Euros).
