@Saimeen Saleem Yes, there are reports in some classical tafsir books that the jinn lived on earth before humans and spread corruption. However, these reports are not established through authentic hadith from the Prophet(PBUH). The Quran confirms that jinn were created before mankind, but it does not explicitly state that they caused bloodshed on earth before Adam (A.S). Therefore, this should be treated as an unverified historical narration rather than an established Islamic belief.

@Areej Sajid this!
My Reflection
Man has sent as of Khalifa.. To be a khalifa — a being bearing Allah's trust (amanah) on earth — one first need to know what we are: not just physical matter, but a being given intellect, free will, and a soul (ruh) in us directly by Allah. Without that self-knowledge, the role of khalifa is just a title, not a lived reality.To truly know Allah, one must first recognize oneself - the heart, the senses, and the inner awareness that He has placed within. Man is created as a mirror (Man 'arafa nafsahu, faqad 'arafa Rabbahu", "Whoever knows himself, knows his Lord) that reflects divine signs; by understanding his own being, he witnesses traces of his Creator's beauty. But When a person becomes blind to his inner world, he also becomes blind to the presence of Allah. Perhaps we all have been looking outward for too long , seeing but not perceiving, hearing but not listening. By reflecting By thinking By questioning now, is the time to see again, to hear again, to return to that inner clarity where knowing the self becomes knowing Him.

@Dua Hamid Allah honored mankind with distinctions He did not mention giving to the jinn. He made us His “khalifah” on earth, taught Adam knowledge that others were not taught, and entrusted humanity with the Amanah. So our distinction isn’t just free will, but the special honor, knowledge, and responsibility Allah gave to the children of Adam. And Allah knows best.

@Areej Sajid Aoa, it’s posted 7 days ago on the “Community” page by M. Abdullah Janjua. Title: Questions are the answer. It’s session # 1.
If worship wasn't meant to be central to our lives
If worship wasn't meant to be central to our lives, then why is the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ our perfect role model filled with devotion, long prayers, and constant remembrance of Allah? Shouldn't we follow what he prioritized most?

With the right intention, -even earning halal, -caring for your family, -exercising to stay healthy so you can worship Allah SWT better, - or even sleeping to regain strength to obey Him can all become acts of worship. It’s not just what we do, but “why” we do it. The goal is to make Allah SWT the “center” of every part of our lives.

Session #1- feedback
How was the first session? “Questions are the Answers”

@Maryam Zahid agreed. I think it would be helpful to keep a dedicated Q&A session during the last 30 minutes of each session.

Alhamdulillah, the first session was excellent and very thought provoking and raised many questions, which I think is a sign of a beneficial session. I do have one question, though. This is the first time I’ve heard that Iblis was above the angels in rank and that the angels carried out his commands. I couldn’t find any authentic evidence for this. Could you of someone please clarify? JazakAllah khair.
