Here. Goal. Now the part most frameworks skip. The Bridge Itself: Action Steps. You know where you are. You know where you're going, and WHY. None of that moves you an inch without steps in between. This is the honest, unglamorous middle. It's not the vision. It's not the destination. It's the specific, sequenced steps that connect one to the other and it's where most people quietly give up, because steps are harder to romanticise than Goals. Belief: Allah rewards the step, not just the outcome. The walking counts, not only the arriving. This week: Break your goal into three concrete steps. Not vague intentions. Actual, Nameable actions. Assalamu alaikum family — for the first time, I want to lay all six out in one place. Every vision starts with clarity of purpose, and underpinning it are its values. Ours is simple: reviving the Ummah through the Kalimah. But a vision without values is just a slogan, so here's what actually holds ours up: Allah at the centre of every decision, not an afterthought. (6:162) Knowledge that's grounded, not assumed. (58:11) Change that starts within, before it shows without. (13:11) Mercy that never lets go of truth. (21:107) A trust each of us carries, not a title we chase. (33:72) A revival that starts with one mind, and never stays there. (3:110) Change requires a system. The Qur'an is that system. Six pillars, not six suggestions. 30 years ago, my father took me to a bookstore in Sydney and handed me a book. One book. One afternoon. Look at what came from it. A question that has stayed with me for 30 years. A vision. A direction. Decades of study, teaching and leadership. A Master’s in Project Management. A life given to one question: Where is the Prophet’s ﷺ leadership in the Muslim world or Humanity? Handing the next generation the right question, then trusting them to chase it or even mentioning or guiding them through the process? Imagine the Ummah 30 years from now if every young Muslim had someone who did that for them, like organisations or institutions or academia. That’s why The Muslim Mind Academy exists. THE GENERATIONAL GAP My dad used to tell me to read the Seerah. I nodded and moved on. One of our VIP Cohort members said something in week 6 of the course a lot of us will recognise. “When I was younger he used to tell me to read it and look over it, and now that I'm older I've seen how the Prophet used to act, how he used to manage his ways throughout.” Most of us were handed the Seerah as children. As homework. As something to finish, not something to think with. Then we grow up, we hit real decisions, friendships, money, leadership, direction, identity and suddenly the same stories start answering questions nobody told us they could answer. The knowledge was never the problem. It sat there for years waiting for the right lens. This is what six weeks with our VIP Cohort keeps proving.
