Hi everyone, I’m curious what’s the best way to get more reviews for our books? I’ve noticed a lot of authors mentioning BookVillage lately. Has anyone here tried it out? It seems pretty interesting.
I run a community of over 1000 Arc readers who can read your books and we don't pay just a token of appreciation for what they can use for refreshments while reading
Hello everyone, I wanted to share a thought about how to get reviews on our books. As of today, the only service I trust is BookVillage, have you heard of it? I don’t really trust the other platforms, but I’d like to exchange opinions. I also tried Facebook Ads, but the cost was outrageous.
@Moses Grant Thank you for sharing your perspective I completely understand where you’re coming from. Facebook Ads can definitely be costly and time-consuming if not managed strategically. At the same time, I’ve found that they can work well when paired with the right targeting and scaling approach, especially for authors or publishers looking to expand their audience beyond book-specific platforms. BookVillage is absolutely a strong option in terms of cost-effectiveness, and I agree it’s especially valuable for publishers with established revenue. In many cases, using both methods strategically rather than one replacing the other—can help maximize reach while keeping ROI in check.
