Sorry boys for being absentee for quite a while. But I have to brag about my Friday haul. Spent a few hours at the South Coast mall with my buddy @Aditya Choksi. Not included in the pic is a decant from Aditya of some ATH Water. It's really nice, gentlemen. Finally pulled the trigger on some Chanel Coromandel and a couple other goodies. Obviously the samples were flying from the sales people. Fun times!

Its a bit cool and rainy today, so I reached for a relatively new addition to my collection. I'm wearing the Hypnotizing fire from the Harmonist. I have been enjoying a lot of samples from this house. I don't know how much "Press" this house gets. I hadn't heard much about it until my SA at a local department store dropped a bunch of samples on me. I have been extremely happy with the scents I have been trying specifically this and Royal earth. I have found the longevity on this to be great 7-8hours, the projection on this one is good solid 4-5' and leaves a wonderful scent trail. I wouldn't want to pick a favorite of the 2 that I own bottles of. They are both great! If you haven't explored the Harmonist you should!

While in London I had the opportunity to visit one of my favorite Heritage houses - Floris of London! Floris has been in business since 1730! Been in the same building since 1730 as well. I will post more about the whole trip later. One of their signature scents is #89 which refers to their address. They still make Bespoke fragrances and I thought about doing it but I’d rather wait until my wife can join me and we can do it together! When you do bespoke you make your own fragrance with their head Perfumer and you name and formula goes into one of their many books. Along side Kings and other royalty never to be made for anyone else! Any way. I was able to pick up a couple of long awaited fragrances for myself and my wife. It was a wonderful time shopping in such hallowed halls!!

Casual errands day, upper 80s here in Southern California, so this felt like the perfect call. Linen shirt, jeans, white sneakers, and Neroli Portofino to match. Bright citrus and neroli up top with that clean Mediterranean feel, easy to wear and doesn’t overdo it for daytime running around. Kept it light today, just one spray on the back of the neck and two on the sides. This one can be powerful so I didn’t want to overdo it. Perfect warm weather match for the fit.

Heading into a lunch meeting today, warm out, and this ended up being the perfect pick. This was a blind buy off a deal at Max Aroma and it turned out to be right up my alley. Opens with a sweet, powdery floral that has a sharp, almost metallic edge to it, coming from the iris and geranium working together. Keeps the floral from getting too soft. The musk underneath adds even more of that powdery quality and gives it a nice, easy drydown. Great pick for a warmer day where you still want something with some depth to it.
