☮️ I Trust My Horse More Than Most People...
✨ Don’t get me wrong, I have good people in my corner and right now thankfully the right people - but at the end of the day, it’s my horses I trust most. They tell me immediately when something is off, when my energy isn’t good enough for them, and they also tell me when everything feels just right. There’s no pretending with horses, no fake intentions, no hidden agenda, they are honest in a way that can be both humbling and healing. One of the greatest lessons they ever taught me was to leave them each day in a place where you can pick up again tomorrow with trust still intact. What a magical thing that is, imagine how different the world would look if more people treated each other the same way. I think, in the end, it all boils down to one simple word: Honesty. ❓What is the biggest lesson your horse has taught you either recently or in the past? 🐴✨🫶

OMG! Zoe, this is so true. Can you imagine, what a different place the world would be. I think my biggest lesson, which I’m still learning.. is slow down and listen. ❤️ 👂
🐴 GET GOOD THEMED WEEK 1: STILLNESS
✨ We’re starting something new this week. A simple rhythm to help you Get Good - one focus at a time, alongside your usual training. And we’re beginning with something that changes everything and this is 'stillness'. Stillness is one of the most overlooked skills in horsemanship and not because it’s unimportant, but because it’s uncomfortable to most. We fidget, adjust, interfere and often we don’t even realize we’re doing it. But your horse feels everything so when you remove the unnecessary, what’s left becomes incredibly clear. Your 3 Focus Points: - Notice where you move without intention (hands, legs, seat, shoulders) - Pause before you adjust - ask yourself: “Is this needed?” - Allow your horse time to respond before you do more You might find your horse softens or you might find confusion shows up, both are valuable feedback. Stillness doesn’t mean doing nothing, it means doing only what matters. I’d love to hear from you - what changes when you get quieter this week? Drop a win, a realization, or even a struggle below 👇 These posts will be pinned to help you remember. And if you want help refining what should stay and what can go, that’s exactly what we go deeper into inside the GGWH Skool where we break it down step-by-step so you’re not left guessing. Let’s begin 🐴✨🫶

@Maddie Pemberton That’s something I find myself mentioning to people all the time, trying hard not to offend them🤣🤣 Sometimes just being still and quiet is the best reward you can give, leaving the horse to process .

🏠 Back Home and Straight Into a Super Groom…
✨ So yesterday, after a night flight, we made it home around lunchtime, unpacked, got the first load of washing on, picked up the doggie, and then straight off to the stables to reconnect with my boys. It honestly felt like a bit of a time warp. When we left, spring was just peeking over the wall and now everything is almost in full bloom. I spent about 4 hours with them. I have two types of grooming sessions… One is a quick flick - health check, maintenance, groom, hooves and just making sure everything is as it should be (and of course making them look extra handsome 😌). And then there’s the super groom - the full works. Extra grooming, really getting into the coat, brushing out the tails properly, little massages, trims, taking the time. Yesterday was definitely a super groom kind of day. Today we start building back into work/play/training again and of course some Z.O.Ë. bonding time 💕 I’m curious… ❓ Do you have different types of grooming sessions too? And do you have names for them? 🐴✨🫶

I think I have 3 grooms, the daily health check, good look over, hooves and generally presentable. Then there's the " proper- almost as I was taught back in BHS days," groom which sometimes includes some mutual grooming back Then, there's the full on Spa Day! with massages and maybe mane and tail washes ... 🤣

🇳🇦 A Little Quiet…
I had planned to share more updates while I’m away, but if I’m honest…the break from technology is so welcome. Instead, I’ve been quietly putting together a compilation video in the background, rather than putting all my energy into social media. Skool is still my priority, so I’ve popped a few posts in over the last days & do jump in, like, comment here and there to keep it ticking over before life takes over again. We’re heading to a new destination today, and by mid-week I may not have any internet at all. Strange… but also very welcome. A little clip from yesterday - it was something else at Sandwich Harbour 🌊 And today we head to Spitzkoppe. Speak soon, Zoë 🐴✨🫶
