the major part of yesterday's Skool news was on Growth Boost (sigh). so, i am not going to share a summary - if you are interested in what they are saying, check the recording in the Vault here. === i am still here to give the Axe Verdict. but let's hear from other Skoolers first. very respected one. here is someone, who has been on Skool for a while / been successful: "My latest growth boost observations...Idk about the rest of you, but I wish they had never started it at this point. I haven’t watched today’s Skool News to hear the latest, but I feel over the whole experiment...I have gone up and down on it several times, but it really does feel like a huge distraction." and then this comment, from someone who is really successful and many of you know: "It's built for the few and it will benefit the few. For the rest of us, it's just a distraction." finally, the last drop, yesterday i invited someone to speak at the Community Clinic 2.0 - more on this to come. she was not a member here. and while we were talking over DMs, she joined from the profile. big mistake , i know - just kidding, it is not on her. but now, i have to pay Skool 50% from $9. well, i can survive that. but still not fair. === what do i think? i think, they are trying to help Skoolers - in their minds. i think, here is what they could have done instead: - introduce efficiency score transparency, so community owners can see how effective they are + share advice/suggestion on what to focus on. - introduce "Deep research" feature to help community owners improve what they are doing. - and whatever else they are doing to improve Growth Boost -- offer it to us as extra paid service. all those features could be at extra cost per month. i would pay for it. for sure. instead, right now: - ppl going paid, when it does not make any sense. - we have to trust/gamble to get results without any visibility of what is going on. - we are blackmailed into using Growth Boost or we loose features we thought are inherent
