My favourite Acro tricks are my chest stand and any back walkover variation
The hard work no one sees (but really matters)
Let’s talk about something important. A lot of people think acro tricks are all about being amazing, or fearless…or just naturally being good at getting tricks... And sure — big tricks look amazing. They look easy online. But here’s the truth: They’re not easy. They’re not magic. And no one is born knowing how to do them. Every skill you want to learn — layouts, aerials, walkovers, all of it —is built on hard work that most people never see. The drills. The shaping. The “do it again!” from your teacher who cares. The days it doesn’t click yet. That part? It’s not always fun. It's not always exciting. And it almost never feels glamorous. But that’s where real progress ACTUALLY happens. This big trick — the Back Layout Step-out — took a LOT of hard work, dedication, and… patience. She worked for years. Practiced it over and over. And then — she nailed it. Because effortless always comes from effort. So if you’re in that part of the journey right now —where you’re working hard but the result isn’t there yet… ✨ Keep going. That’s what makes the big tricks possible later on. 😊 And now, I want to know from you ... what tricks are you currently working on that are requiring a LOT of your effort, but will translate into effortLESS in the future?
