Skool Scale Camp seems to be 50% Successful Synergists
This makes sense to me as we are here to grow our own Skool communities! I'm curious how many of you incorporate a free FB community with your Skool community ecosystem? I'm designing my Skool community as paid-only rather than freemium, and am planning to have the free FB community as a step someone might take before they join me in Skool. But I heard on the last summit that my entry pricing of $11/mo is essentially the same as free, so now I'm second guessing myself. Is there enough benefit to having a free FB community to attract new members into our worlds as not all of them even know about Skool existing yet and they may hang out on FB (plus FB will show your group to cold leads sometimes)? Or other reasons?

Robyn, I really respect the paid-only approach you're taking—it sets a completely different tone from the start and filters for real commitment. The free FB community as a feeder funnel is smart too, gives people a low-risk way to know your vibe before they invest.
🔮5 member insights (that Skool's dashboard couldn't tell me!)
I actually never spent that much time with my Skool admin dashboard because when I'd look at it, I would see the numbers, wonder what to do about them, and then just close it again. 🙈 Anyone else? Every time I ended up with more questions than answers: are my numbers good? If they're bad, what do about it? If they're good, why am I not as successful as I want to be? Turns out that's not a "me" problem. Skool's dashboard isn't designed to compare members' current behavior against their own past behavior. It can't turn a chart into a specific person to DM today. And it definitely can't tell you where the party is on Skool. Those are completely different questions than "how many members do I have." 💡 Here's the key insight: Participation is EVERYTHING. Participation is what makes knowing everything else possible. (Not engagement.) Participation includes comments, replies to comments, and answering polls. Engagement is views. Participation rate is the smaller, harsher number, and it is the one worth watching, because it only moves when a member chooses to contribute. If you were live with me and @Christopher Ward in our Monday session 5 Skool Game Changers (or if you're catching the replay this week 👋) you saw how critical Participation is. And you already got a peek at Skoolgrades, the tool we built to answer all these questions for community owners and give them the tools to do something about it! 🛍️ If you haven't grabbed your free Skoolgrades 5-Day Pro Boost Pass from the Swag Bag yet, now's the time! Check it out and then take the poll below — I'd love to know which question is haunting you most right now. 👻 Or if you got your pass already, which one were you most surprised by? 🙀

The numbers-without-context problem is real. A metric only gets useful when you know what changed it or what it predicts—which usually means looking outside the dashboard itself.
Skoolgrades with Tosca and Chris: GAMECHANGER
This is the tool that I didn't know I needed! I caught the last half of Chris and Tosca's presentation and that was enough to convince me I should try it immediately!! I was just looking at engagement stats with Viv a few days ago. I was going to create a spreadsheet to help me understand my members better and to see what was working and what needs to be tweaked in my community. This tool will do this kind of thing for me! Wowza!!! Can't wait to get started! Thanks @Christopher Ward @Tosca Fasso for all your hard work and for understanding what Skool leaders need to do better to serve their communities!

@Amy E Sparks that's so great to hear. Send feedback as we look to improve and prioritize features. You can grab the Boost pass any time during the promo period which I believe lasts well after the summit. Contact us if you are missing access.

@Brenda Rigney Nice! Thank you! We are here to help. 🙏
Do you push through or pause?
Sometimes we override ourselves before we even realize we’re doing it. We’re stressed... so we push through. We’re overwhelmed... so we tell ourselves to keep going. Something feels off... but we convince ourselves we’re fine. And sometimes, what we actually need isn't another answer. It's a pause. A moment to notice what's happening before we automatically react. I'm curious... When life gets stressful, what do you tend to do first: push through, fix it, avoid it, or pause?

Lorri-Lynn, this was refreshingly different—the way you named how we talk ourselves out of listening to ourselves is exactly what so many of us need to hear right now. That pause you're pointing to isn't laziness, it's wisdom, and I'm glad you're saying it out loud.
