Hey everyone! I’ve been working on a motion design concept inspired by the fintech company Ramp. While this shot didn’t make it into the final video, I really liked how it turned out, so I’m sharing it as a standalone. Everything was done in Blender and finished in DaVinci Resolve. This one’s actually a little side project I made for fun, based on a model from the main animation I’ve been working on with a friend. I’ll be posting that main project tomorrow — it’s a lot bigger, and I’m super excited to share it! Meanwhile, I ran into some annoying color banding in the background of this one. It’s not in the images, only the final video. I tried film grain in DaVinci Resolve Studio, but it’s still kinda there. Rendered at 1080x1440, 512 samples, 24fps in Blender Cycles. If anyone knows a solid fix for this, please drop your wisdom 🙏 Let me know what you think of the animation too .

A few months ago, I created this product model, but I recently decided to re-render it after learning new lighting techniques from some amazing free tutorials shared by the 3D community.
