Seeing or hearing about others who are doing well inspires me and leads me to reflect on what lessons, systems or habits I could incorporate to make me better! It is all about learning, growing and evolving‼️🧠
Share your family. Let's build a network of happy parents
As the title says! Please always be respectful. Parental burnout is real, speak out here, let's share our pain and how we overcame our problems. Our queen who gave birth to our angels will have postnatal depression. Let's be supportive to our queens. Ladies, fathers have burnout too. Support your king!

Parental burnout is real—constant demands, lack of rest, and emotional strain can leave parents feeling drained, irritable, and disconnected. It’s important to recognise the signs: chronic fatigue, loss of joy in parenting, and overwhelm. Managing it starts with self-compassion and setting realistic expectations. Share responsibilities, take short breaks, and create time for self-care, even in small doses. Build a support system, seek help when needed, and remember that recharging yourself strengthens your ability to nurture and love your children fully.
Let's share our pain and seek for light
We all have our lows in life and need to overcome one way or another. If you have overcame your problems, please tell us how. If you are in the process, let us in to share your pain and push you further for the new highs! I was 100kg with 40% body fat, gave up on my body, was a terrible first time dad and a husband that failed to see his wife's depression. We are bouncing back now slowly, but times were exceptionally bad, that everytime I saw a bad driver on the street, I secretly hoped for the bad outcome to just lie down in a hospital bed and rest counting on insurance to cover everything. Has it completely healed? No, but way waaaaay better now and I can see a way out from here.

@Abdusamad Mukhamadrakhimov That is powerful stuff! What your message highlights to me is the importance of mindset and how by shifting our perspective, we are able to overcome. A big struggle that I overcame a few years ago was losing hearing in my left ear. I was sitting down on my bed next to my wife and my ear drum just popped. I wont go into all the events that happened, but let's just say it.was life changing. For over a year I suffered while waiting to see a specialist and eventually getting a Bluetooth hearing aid. The whole experience affected my confidence in many ways and left me feeling vulnerable. Over the years I have learnt to live with it and I shifted my mindset so I wasn't feeling like a victim as two specialist couldn't tell me what the cause of my hearing loss! It has been a journey and a challenge, yet still I rise‼️
How I’m balancing a full-time job, two kids, and a growing side hustle (while avoiding the dad bod)
Hi everyone! This page is about helping each other, sharing issues and sharing advices on how to overcome problems. I’ve been working full-time in finance, raising two kids under five, and slowly building a side hustle on evenings and weekends (which has just started and is at £0). It’s been far from easy — juggling family time, gym sessions, work, and still trying to stay sane... Lack of sleep is criminal. Over time, I created a system that’s actually working: - I wake up at 5 am, prepare milk for my wife, then off to gym by 5:30am - 6-8 gym session to organise my thoughts (which is how I got here) - 8-9 look for ways on how to get out of this swamp! - 9-6 full-time job - Weekly financial goals - 4-day workout split - And most importantly… protecting family time I want this community to be for dads, professionals, side hustlers — where we share what’s working and help each other stay accountable (without all the hustle culture noise). In the next post I would like to share what made me do it all, as it might be of interest to you. What systems or routines are working for you right now? Let’s swap notes

Hi @Abdusamad Mukhamadrakhimov I am a father of two, married for 23 years. I work full-time and run my training consultancy, Edifying Answers. I train three times per week in the gym and run a monthly men's group called Black Men Talk and Connect. It is always a challenge balancing health, fitness, family, work, business and fun. A key thing for me is discipline and consistency. Every second counts and making the right choices with the best use of my time and energy! Diet, rest, sleep and the people I allow into my circle and vital. Most importantly, it is the relationship I have with myself because there is nobody that we speak to more than ourselves with the 60-70 thoughts we have each day!
