@Charlie Davies Charlie, I didnโt know this happened in Britain. This is really big news to me. Of course, the Soviet Union suffered so much, so many people died, an insane number of people โ and other countries too, Britain, France, and so many others. Just a complete nightmare! But itโs exactly these consequences after World War II that many of us donโt even know about. I had no idea about this detail in Britain โ that rationing continued all the way until 1954. That is horrible. A complete nightmare. Basically, the war ends, but then people spend decades dealing with the consequences and continuing to suffer. God forbid anything like that ever happens again. But unfortunately, humanity can be so stupid and often learns nothing from history, starting wars again and again. Even now, there are so many wars happening at the same time all over the world. Living here in Chile, in Latin America, I sometimes look at what is happening with horror. People are going crazy, and the madness seems to be growing every year. Of course, I feel deeply for the British people โ a wonderful nation โ and for everything they had to go through. Charlie, thank you for sharing such valuable information. I really didnโt know this. Iโll definitely use this fact one day in some smart conversation with friends or colleagues! Thank you. This is very important information. We must not forget these things. As long as we are alive, history stays alive in our minds. And we must pass it on to our children, grandchildren, and future generations. Thank you, Charlie. Beautiful post! ๐
