Trying to “Stay Busy or Stay Occupied” Post Break Up
In another group I’m in, someone asked the question, What sin do you feel like is holding your relationship back with God right now? I answered: I would say busyness! And it’s crazy because I just got out of a worldly relationship that I was in for over three years that always compromised my relationship with God because of sex, me being the only believer, and ultimately not having the same foundation. My boyfriend was a big thing I was putting in front of the Lord, now it’s these new hobbies I’m picking up, and jobs that I want to start…which have been exciting, but I feel like God is trying to to teach me that I need to prioritize my time with Him first. Because I’m not fully healed, constantly am looking into the past, hurting, trying to fill up my time, I have a lot of doubt right now in most things I’m doing. I need God to show me my purpose, but I need to be available for Him first. Welp, sorry for the rant….but yeah!! Why is it so hard to allow ourselves to heal? Pry because it’s painful right? We were just on a mountain and now we’re in a valley again and don’t want to admit it! Well….I saw this amazing quote the other day…”Mountain tops are for views and inspirations, but fruit is grown in valleys.” -Billy Graham Most of us are pry in a valley right now, some way deeper than others. But as a reminder (mostly to myself) 😂, that we need to embrace the valley. Your new self, a better self was never made in comfort. It was made in a valley that you had to CLIMB to get out of! CLIMB IN 2026 FAM! we got this! 🤍🤍🤍

Day 52, blocked and praying
My boyfriend of two years told me to get out of our house and that he no longer wanted to be in a relationship with me. I was devastated and heartbroken because I truly loved him and wanted our future to be a thriving one. Going to church with a little family and everything. He told me he despised going to church and that the only way he would go would be for me. That was something that cut deep down too because we had grown up in the same faith so I thought our beliefs aligned, it appears not. Fast forward to day 52, he’s has blocked me on everything. I moved back in with my parents a while ago and I’m currently saving money for a new place since I had sunk money into mine and my ex’s house. I’m taking things one day at a time, going to the gym for distraction and giving Jesus the wheel. I’m really grateful to be apart of this community🤍blessings to all of you, my friends

Anessa I am praying for you, I’m so sorry for this painful experience. Jesus is near you even though it may not feel as though sometimes, He is our protector and is protecting you in this situation.
Welcome to The Sanctum Haven: Founder’s Story + Introduce Yourself
Hello, My name is Jay Carvalho. I am the founder of The Sanctum Haven and Sanctum Journals. My journey began in 2021 during one of the darkest periods of my life. I struggled with depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, and difficult relationships. I needed an escape from the pain and a way to become a better version of myself, a path to navigate these struggles, and a way to find hope in the midst of despair. Over the past few years, I’ve built routines and habits—meditation, journaling, cold showers, reading, learning new skills, and working out—that have helped me get through my struggles and gain clarity, discipline, and resilience. I started working out about seven years ago when I was bullied, ridiculed, and insecure, skinny, and deeply depressed as a 14- or 15-year-old. Exercise became more than just physical training—it became a tool for mental strength, confidence, and discipline. These practices allowed me to heal, make major life decisions, seek forgiveness, grow spiritually, build businesses, and develop into a more grounded, well-rounded man. Each habit, each daily practice, became a stepping stone toward becoming the person I wanted to be. Five months ago, I went through the worst heartbreak I have ever experienced in my life. That heartbreak eventually led me to accept Christ, which radically changed how I see morals, values, and purpose. After growing up atheist my whole life, embracing Jesus brought a profound clarity, deep peace, and a renewed sense of purpose. That's why I started content creation. It gave me a strong desire to help others who face similar struggles and a framework for living a life grounded in faith, integrity, and growth. I know what it’s like to feel lost, broken, and hopeless. I know what it feels like to question whether you will ever find peace or happiness again. That’s why I created The Sanctum Haven. This is a safe space to heal, strengthen your faith, build discipline, and grow into the best version of yourself. This isn’t just a community. It's a MOVEMENT:

1. Hey guys my name is Evelyn! 2. I’m here going through a break up which through God’s grace went very peacefully and out of love, but through every day that passes I’ve realized how that relationship built and also crushed me, I need to learn who I am again in Christ and want to support other people in that same place. 3. Working through finding what I love again, setting my standards, and reframing my life in Christ. 1. I want to prepare myself, my heart, my mind for this next season of life!
