Social security number stolen
I had my ss number stolen and someone has worked on it for four years I contacted IRS and tjey sent me a letter tĥat those wages had been taken care of. I also contacted ss office. They told me to call police and make a report. I have an appointment with the detective to go to ss office to find where this pwrson is working. Will ss kill my account when they catch thos person if their are ice?

My social security card was stolen 4 years ago.and someone has been working on it.I turned it into SS several times and the IRS also. SS said they could not remove from earnings till IRS said it was fraud. I finailly got letter from IRS stating ot was fraud. I am going to SS office for them to remove wages from work record. If they catch this person using my number and it involves ice will my Social security number still die even though I had taken care of it? Will I have to pay those wagrs back?Thank you
