Ongoing swings: BUG, a cybersecurity ETF. Entry at $38.12 on 7/31 after hammer nearly touched 50ma; volume was low, but today's (8/3) was encouraging; it had a Golden Cross on 6/18. KEY, the bank. Entry at $22.63 on 7/30 on mild-mannered hammer that opened below 50ma and closed above it; decent volume, not quite at 20 day avg. MRVI, medical supply firm, a failed swing. Entry at $6.74 on 7/30. Sold most on 7/31, stopped out on remainder on 8/3 (today). Entry was in Bone Zone, but 9ma was declining and MACD was never encouraging. A scan found it on 7/7; opted against 7/9 entry on low volume, and didn't chase it on 7/10, despite above avg volume and hammer-like candle; that was actually the good Bone Zone entry point; MACD was also a lot more bullish compared to where I actually entered; hope I learned something...
