Honesty
One element of life I noticed today is that, as time goes by, we typically become more and more honest. The truth persists, despite any hesitations we might have to accept it initially, and eventually everything is out in the open, at least to some broader audience than ourselves. How do you look at honesty? What's your attitude towards prioritizing honesty/authenticity vs prioritizing relationships and peace with others? Let's unbox ourselves a little ;)

I am sometimes unapologetically honest which can cause issues. I just feel like I have a moral duty to be honest all the time. Maybe there are some nuances that I can’t put into words that I don’t know of right now so I guess that’s just a learning journey i’m still on.
I am the pure Spirit
What's your current orientation towards your soul or Spirit? Do you believe in it? Do you experience it? What kind of spirituality are you familiar with?

ahhh yeah, sorry I didn’t flesh that out. I haven’t read the work but i’ve watched youtube videos and read reddit posts (which doesn’t amount to much studying) but from what i’ve read it seems to align with some of the positions I already have. It’s on my list of books to read

@James Wilson Yeah, i've got the books Ikigai and Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis (which was recommended by my Christian friends because i'm agnostic) lined up right now What's your favorite philosophical book
High-Value Ideation
What do you do to generate your highest quality ideas? For a long time, I've been writing daily with the intention of gaining perspective on myself and my life. Gaining direction to move forward with, and generally integrating knowledge from various sources into my understanding. In the past, I've often spent hours each day going about this pondering and sorting through my mind to gain clarity. What I'm realizing recently, is that although this process feels quite enjoyable to me, it's not necessarily the best use of my time. When AI is capable of generating dozens of high quality ideas in seconds, and it takes me a couple hours to get to the juicy part of my speculations, the opportunity cost of this practice is quite high. Moving forward, I think I'll be leveraging AI to stand on the shoulders of giants, instead of rebuilding the wheel for myself each day. So I'm interested, how do you reflect on your inner workings? What have you learned about yourself recently? How do you generate interesting/new ideas? Keep thinking outside the box!

It’s hard to force creativity, because that ultimately what innovative or philosophical questions are. They are dynamic ways of thinking of life and the best philosophical ideas and questions arise naturally. So I just have a catch all for my ideas and questions on my phone that I organize into categories. Then if I want to flesh out those ideas then I can refer back to those cursory thoughts that I had. Learning about yourself is the same way, it is situational when you get those thoughts. Best practice is just always to be introspective and a skeptic about your behaviors and perspectives. Then you question yourself and refine it through your own inner dialogue.

@James Wilson Yeah I think people bring up "luck" as a factor for people making extrodinary things but a lot of the luck depends on how many times you put yourself in a situation where you can "be lucky" so showing up everyday will allow you to be more lucky more often. I use notion and have a database where it's a gallery view and the title of the page is just my thought or question. There is no body text just that title.

I am from PA Memento Mori always has resonated with me. The acceptance that we are all mortal but it's not a reason to be sad rather a reason to be determined. Seize the time you have been gifted to find fulfillment. Find a group of people to share ideas with and to grow my philisophical world view I am grateful for how natural philisophical thought comes because then I can share it with other people who may need it
