Welcome Writers! With the recent passing of Dolly Parton, our conversation starter for Wednesday 2nd September will be inspired by the singer songwriter. Our topic (if you look under 'classroom') was going to be, 'When do you feel most in flow?' Well, it seems that Dolly was pretty good at getting into flow state! She was famously prolific and apparently made a promise to herself to write something every day. And here’s the bit that's really impressive... She may have written 'Jolene' and 'I Will Always Love You' in the same incredible creative burst. 🤯 Can you imagine having a writing day where you produced not one, but two of your greatest works?! That is the sort of thing I think about when we talk about 'Flow' here in the Pod. 🐬 Those extraordinary moments when you're totally in the creative zone. The words are coming. You're absorbed. Time disappears. And you're writing almost effortlessly. 🌊 So I’d love to know... ✨ Have you ever had a writing day where you got completely into the flow? What do you think helped you get there?
