Just for fun: your favorite local sports team, or the thing your city is famous for (food, landmark, weird tradition, all fair game) Why do 1 and 2 matter? Employers check them early, sometimes before they even watch your reel. - Time zone. Can you make their calls and turn notes around the same day? - Contracts and taxes. Where you're based changes how they pay you and which paperwork applies. - Local shoots and incentives. Some productions need people in a specific region, or get tax credits for hiring locally. - Trust. "Remote, somewhere" feels vague. A real city makes you feel like a real person they can hire. I’ve been experimenting with a darker, slower, more cinematic opening this time around, with a lot more emphasis on atmosphere, dialogue, and the spiritual side of the story. “Before the curse… there was a blessing.” This is still a work in progress, but I wanted to put it in front of the community and get some eyes on it.
