I'll Introduce You To Employers. Here's What I Want In Return
More job offers are landing on my desk than I can personally place people for. Here's how that works now. Straight up: recruiters and studios have been reaching out more and more lately looking for AI filmmakers. Good problem to have. But it means I need a clear, fair way to connect you to that work — so here's the deal, two ways to do it. Option 1: Revenue Share - Not Available - Read this post https://www.skool.com/aifilmmakerscareeragents/i-killed-revshare-today-heres-why-and-what-changes-for-you?p=66156d2c Option 2: Subscription (flat rate, no revenue share) If you'd rather skip the percentage and just pay a flat membership rate for access to placements, here's the pricing: - $19/month or $97/year — this is the launch price, and it's ending soon - Locked in through August 31st - On September 1st, it goes up to $24/month or $200/year If you're serious about getting placed through AIFD/AIFCA, now's the cheapest it's going to be. Lock it in before the end of the month. Questions on either option, drop them below or DM me. — Alex

Ghost-Writer Episode 2: “The Lesson” 👻🎙️
Just finished Episode 2 of my original supernatural series Ghost-Writer. This episode pushed me a lot more creatively than the first one—especially with the horror atmosphere, camera work, sound design, and figuring out how to make the supernatural elements feel like they actually belong in the story instead of just throwing scary stuff on screen. Ghost-Writer is a Southern Gothic supernatural story set around music, family legacy, and a mysterious notebook that seems to have a mind of its own. I’d really appreciate any feedback, especially on: pacing cinematography/camera angles horror atmosphere character performances sound/music anything that pulled you out of the experience Still learning and building this thing episode by episode. Appreciate anybody who takes the time to watch. 👻 Episode 2 — “The Lesson” https://youtu.be/gZCW1Hp5y0c?is=Ssd1eb7IIuIGmuNF
YouTube entered the Netflix chat
You can now program episodic shows on YouTube. I think this reflects the fact the platform has passed Netflix as the most watched streaming service on TV screens. This is very good news for AI filmmakers. YouTube is embracing episodic stories even the AI generated ones as long as they are interesting to audiences. Are your AI films making it on the big screen yet?

🎬 Drop your best film of the week — winners get featured Friday
Starting July 17, every Friday I’ll post the Best AI Films This Week thread on X, plus a feature on the AIFD blog. Starting now, this community gets first shot at those slots. How it works: Post your best film from this week (or month, if it's your first time) in the comments by Thursday night. Format: 1. Link to the film 2. Tool(s) used 3. One sentence: what you're proudest of What winners get: - Featured in Friday's Best AI Films thread on X (tagged, with commentary on why your work stands out) - A spot in that week's AIFD blog post, linked to your directory profile - Real distribution — these threads reach buyers, studios, and other filmmakers No polish required. I'm looking for one great moment — a match cut, a lighting shift, a story beat that lands. Show me what you've got. 👇

I applied already. I was geeked when I saw it. Its a shame some big budget brand is probably gonna win.
