My biggest fear about entering the real estate business is getting myself known and finding my first client. As a new residential agent, I will not yet have an established reputation, a large network, client testimonials or a record of successful sales. This may make it difficult for buyers and sellers to trust me with such an important financial decision.

Having an MLS in Belize would help with accurate property valuations because it would provide reliable information about properties that are for sale and properties that have already sold. Real estate professionals could compare similar properties based on location, size, condition, features and actual selling price. This would reduce guessing, prevent properties from being seriously overpriced or underpriced, and create more consistent and transparent property valuations

Ethics is extremely important in real estate because agents are dealing with people’s money, property, personal information, and major life decisions. Clients need to be able to trust that the agent is acting honestly and professionally. In simple terms, ethics means knowing what is right and wrong and choosing to do what is right, even when doing the wrong thing might benefit you. Most importantly protect your Reputation do not hinder yourself from referrals and more clients.
