Who is engaged?
This isn’t about someone who is going to get married. Although if you have an engagement story to tell then do share it here. I don’t really have a story about that, he didn’t get down on one knee for sure, but I really loved my ring! So the question is are you one of the 41% who doesn’t engage in our community? Are you one who just likes to lurk in the background? And that is ok. I want to give a big thankyou to the 59% who contribute, who comment and click likes, share their makes and ups and downs, because this is how the group keeps growing. So here is a welcoming opportunity for anyone of the 41 presenters to say hello, share your thoughts, your dreams, your stories. We would love to learn a bit more about you. We are a friendly bunch!

I don't engage much, because I don't crochet much. I totally appreciate you teaching me, I keep my project in a bag in the car so I can take it into the waiting areas with me.

This is where you can level up to become a Sprout! You can also watch BritDanny on video showing you how to Crochet some lovely projects. I met her on line. A great feature of Skool is how we can have meetings with those crafters who Invite us to chat and meet face to face. I absolutely love it. It’s new for me we didn’t have this opportunity when I was young. I have friends now in Australia, USA, France , friends who we can spend an hour or so chatting while crocheting in the evening. Who have you met? No need to be shy, no need to be lonely, they are a friendly bunch out there! Are you a bit shy to hop on a LIVE? Or do you dive right in?

I think you're the only one I've been on live with, and I had some major technical difficulties šŸ˜ I'm going to try again sometime

I told someone about your group today. I had the windshield in my car replaced and was crocheting in the waiting area. The receptionist asked me about using the latch hook and I explained to her about being left handed and never learning how to crochet, and then I told her about this group and how you were so patient with me. She said she would check it out, so I hope she finds us here. 😁
I need some helpful tips
Re our move to our forever home. Our spare bedroom is going to be new craft room. At the moment everything is piled up in boxes against the wall. I also need it as an office come video making space too. So far I have a lovely yellow drop leaf table for my sewing machine. I also have a useful set of drawers with my printer on top. And that’s it. I need ideas for my huge yarn stash?? Any ideas? Perhaps post your photos of your workspace or craftroom. On our smallholding my craftroom was built on a hay wagon. I must dig out some photos of the build! Oh the memories… Ps,, found this gif.. I wish! What does your craft space look like?

My craft room is a complete mess right now. I need to get some new bins, I want rectangular bins instead of the oval ones I'm currently using

@Roslyn Hill it used to be my youngest son's bedroom, but he's been on his own for a while now.
Kids collage..theme this week is Easter chicks…
I managed to find plenty of yellow dk yarn at the destash sale this weekend So I am preparing a chick collage for next Saturday. Photos soon…or maybe you could try it too. Re posting this project … A lovely fun project for younger kids to do. The photo shows six year old Heidi’s collage. Also Christmas tree decorations. There are two ways to do do this activity. The tree decorations were made using a flower or long chain length or cord length. These are stuck onto a sticky address label. The other idea is made using a postcard size of card. Then use double sided sticky tape to cover the card to make it sticky . Use chain lengths of different types of yarn and flowers to create a collage. My sister always uses a pattern so I asked her to just use chain and slip stitch for her Easter project and we were both amazed at the result. The chicken is superb!

Oh I love these. So cute
Coming soon… our Easter Challenge are you in?
I am working on a classroom idea with a FREE demo… How to make a mask. There is so much that you can do with this simple mask idea, all based on a simple starter pattern. once you have the basic start you can get very creative with your mask. Adding easy flowers, rug stitch hairy bits, ears, a hat, plaits , anything mardigra in fact. Or when starting out with this idea, I made a cat, a pig and a chick. Soooo.. the Easter Challenge is to make a little chick mask! This challenge will be ongoing like The Yarn Bag Challenge… did you make one yet? Whose in?
