COMMENTS ON DAVE'S MINDSET # 1 DAILY MINDSET WORK
I just watched Dave's video on our daily mindset. How powerful ! Very balanced and effective. We all want to put this into action. 1. The emotional dump. Get out all of the emotional junk that is making us fail ! 2. find three things that we are proud of and three things that we are grateful for. so important to have positive energy and not be always beating ourselves up ! 3. Have a viable, realistic and doable business plan. Have a goal. Like getting on the highway and knowing what our destination is. 4. Visualize.....like watching a movie. We are just as capable of realizing our hopes and dreams as anyone on the face of the earth, and we will prove this by our actions. If we don't succeed in life, it's because we don't want it badly enough !! 5. Set realistic goals and complete one thing. For example, 5 new leads in your market, 5 skip traces, making a contact. We are going to go through hard times in life. We will have good times and bad times. We have to be grounded. WE WILL GROW WHEN TIMES ARE HARD AND ROUGH AND TOUGH !! THANKS DAVID FOR THIS VERY IMPORTANT ADVICE ON OUR MINDSET.
Getting Back
Hey all I am just getting back from a very POWERFUL seminar! Cannot wait to share. I worked a case that Rose & I are working - had the police called on me for the very first time - from a roommate - officers looked at the paperwork, said I was legit, and to proceed - I could not make that up! I learned a lot on mindset and I am continuously adding to the program. I cannot wait to share with all of you - and no I didn't see jail time! Also reminder - our Saturday quarterly training is on April 11th at 10AM.

Sure look forward to it also. We sure need it, David. Thanks
Cold Calling
I used to think more cold calls was the answer. More dials. More outreach. More hustle. Until the data told me otherwise. We had surplus funds and the instinct was to pour it into more activity — bigger lists, more reps, more volume. But when I actually looked at the numbers, the problem wasn't how many calls we were making. It was who we were calling and when. So instead of scaling the noise, we invested in better data. The result? Fewer calls. Better conversations. Higher close rates. The shift happened when I stopped asking "how do we do more?" and started asking "what does the data actually tell us?" Cold calling isn't dead. Undisciplined cold calling is. If you have surplus funds to reinvest in your sales process — don't just add volume. Audit the data first. What's one sales assumption you've had to unlearn?

Valuable advice, David. fine tuning the process.
A few keys to our success Warriors
As we drive each day to make progress, here are a few Important reminders: 1. Small daily actions compounded over time determine our success. These are easy to do and easy not to do. Small consistent actions lead to success. 2. Most people quit way too soon, because they want Immediate results. Results take time ! 3. Anxiety eliminates our ability to see an opportunity when it's right in front of our nose. Instead of seeing the ability for success, we choose to only see the potential for failure. 4. It is how we deal with each circumstance that will determine our success. Don't get discouraged Warriors or throw in the towel too soon. We can be successful !

Good comments Phil and Karen. We really need to encourage one another to make this work. We all have to overcome some challenges from the past and present. Let's make it happen !
David's call this morning
David's call this morning was very valuable. I missed the update that the call was beginning at 9:30 CST. Therefore I missed the first half hour. What I heard though was very important. We have to work on the inner game, our mental state. Even face the dark places in our lives that are sabotaging our success in the business. Face our frustrations and discouragements. Look them in the face and conquer them. We have to be willing to also face the fact that the county and state agencies are not thrilled with having to hand over the money. They will put hoops that we have to jump through. It requires determination on our part. Like Jane said so well. She said, " I just don't accept no !" Nobody said that it was going to be a piece of cake. Back to the basics, Warriors. new can do this.
