Leaving the Shire.
Hello All, Names Erik and I am taking the #AISChallenge. My goal is start doing AIOS Presentations which I hope turns from a side business to a main career. I currently work at a bank as a Private banker. I have three Kids and as I see it I have reached a crossroads in my career. My next position in the banking career is Financial Advisor. The issue is at the moment not being my own boss is causing me to miss vital moments in their lives. Either path would accomplish the time issue but I have so much passion for working with AI its become something I've become obsessed with. Due to my background, sales actually come easy for me. In fact, just off of the into to AIOS video, I have already have a few business waiting on my call to set up our call. I used to do IT and have been messing around with AI for about 3 months. I've created websites, MVPs, and even had built 4 approved ACPs on Virtual Protocol. After everything I feel like my best shot is working directly with small businesses. My job consists of open business accounts on a regular basis and I always find my self asking deeper questions about their work flows (which for banking, is not necessary). That leads to "have you ever consider using AI to help you automate that work flow?" I would say 8 out of 10 customers who are serious about their business, get fired up about it. I see that this angle has legs. I have been meeting with a business manager of a district and he's to is bought this idea as well. The amount of contacts he has is huge. All that being said this is we my journey begins. I will be spending a majority of my late nights (my only free time) working on this, as apart of this community. I will have questions along the way and am always open to feed back. I know the intro was a little long winded, but I'm excited to see where this takes me. Once extra money starts coming in I plan on joining the paid group. I will post the progress of my journey along the way. Lets get this 🦾 - Erik #AISChallenge

The AI Agency Model Is Already Dying
Everyone rushed to build an AI agency in 2024. Now the market is flooded and clients are getting smarter. They're not paying $5k for automations anymore. They're asking why they should pay you when they can just use Claude themselves. The agency model works when you have: • A niche so specific no one else owns it • A delivery system that's faster than anything they could DIY • A relationship built before the sale Without those three things you're just another person with an n8n account. The ones winning right now aren't selling "AI automation." They're selling a specific outcome to a specific person who already trusts them. The tool is irrelevant. The positioning is everything. Are you building an agency or building a position?
