just curious Sean, Im only focusing on cash games so no ICM etc, just curious when you're thinking through a hand what are the most important concepts ? for me its obviously Player types at the table and how that affects their Ranges and betting behaviours, then mathematically its a combination of SPR, Pot odds, BE% and being able to mentally estimate those in realtime and also very importantly but extremely difficult skill is being able to guestimate the equity of the part of my range which my current hand is bucketed to and arrives at this part of the game tree, and being able to use that approximation to try make a good decision. Obviously being able to track so many moving parts in realtime is insanely complicated and hence where the skill in poker comes from years of practice which Im only starting now but Im just curious if my understanding conceptually is at least in the ballpark ? cheers
