The thumbnail title said "F--- Suffering" because Alex disclosed that while he is very successful, he is feeling fulfilled. He said, "I do what I do (business coaching) because I don't know what else to do, and it's the only thing I am good at. I don't find it fulfilling, but I think that's ok cause suffering is part of life." It was deep. Tony challenged him to think differently, then went deeper. I am going to skip the psychoanalysis that followed and skip to the recommendation. For humans to reach their personal peak performance, we need something bigger than ourselves to stretch us beyond our normal limits. Tony told Alex to his face that the reason he isn't fulfilled is that he hasn't found a mission bigger than himself. It was real talk, and Alex agreed with him. Tony helped Alex workshop a mission that Alex would be passionate about right there on. Mission: Helping 100,000 young men accumulate $100k cash in the bank. When Alex had this experience, his vision for his life was forever changed. The goal of creating $1B in economic value for 100,000 people also aligns with his skill set and mindset.
