2000 calories made me soft. 2600 made me lean.
From my own before-and-after: BEFORE: 2000 calories, 150g protein, gym 7 days a week, "I cheated today so I'll start on Monday" mindset. AFTER: 2600 calories, 200g protein, lifting 3-4x a week, "one meal will not stop my progress" mindset. I got leaner eating more and training less. The problem was never the calories — it was too little protein, too much training, and a dieter's guilt mindset. You don't need to starve and you don't need to live in the gym. You need enough protein and a plan you can actually run without falling apart on weekends. Question for the group: who's still trying to get lean on under 2000? What number do you think you "need" to eat? Drop it below — I want to see where heads are at.

66 Pounds Down — and Stronger Along the Way 💪
December 2024 → August 2026 243 lbs → 177 lbs 51% → 45% body fat 49% → 52% lean mass This win is about so much more than the 66 pounds I’ve lost. I’m especially proud that while my weight and body fat have come down, my lean mass percentage has gone UP. 💪 There have been plateaus, adjustments, travel, days I was motivated and plenty when I wasn’t—but I kept coming back to the basics: protein, strength training, movement, and consistency. I’m not finished yet, but sometimes you have to stop looking at how far you still want to go and look back at how far you’ve already come. Today, I’m celebrating this win! 🎉

THIS is why I keep saying the scale is only one part of the story! 66 pounds down, body fat down, and lean mass percentage UP. 💪 And you did it through real life. Travel, plateaus, good days, bad days, motivated days and "I don't feel like doing this" days. Protein. Lift. Move. Keep going. Proud of you, Marlene! This is what consistency actually looks like. 🔥 We ain't done yet!!

A win does not have to be a perfect week or a dramatic transformation. It can be one better decision made in real life. Reply with one win from this week: • Hit your protein target • Trained when you didn’t feel like it • Took the stairs or got your steps • Made a smarter restaurant choice • Got back on track after an off day • Noticed progress in your strength, clothes, photos, or measurements Tell us what you did. Small wins repeated are how this works.
