Poll: AI Book Writing Challenge?
Hey everybody. I've been working with a developer on a number of projects related to using a platform that they've been developing in a large part with utilizing Claude and Claude Code to help people organize their expertise and create full manuscripts for their next book. What I find interesting about this and how we are using it right now for some private clients that we are managing the entire publishing process for start to finish is that while the AI agents that are working in the background speed things up at an insane level, there is still a very clear process that we have been following to ensure that the book outputs are solid to begin with. It all starts with organizing the book outline. The research. In all things that were utilizing AI for as well, and the process to then run it through this AI book writing agent system, which outputs entire book drafts organized and formatted and ready for refinement to move along the publishing process. And since we've been going through this project with private clients, I've been reflecting on how we got started with Jasper back in early 2021, using it to write books and doing the 7-day book writing challenge. Back then you may have known me as The AI Author. And through that 7-day process, we saw dozens of entrepreneurs and founders, thought leaders, and subject matter experts tap into the power of AI for researching, brainstorming, outlining, and writing the content for their books as well as other marketing materials for their businesses. Some people would use these books as lead magnets, or pieces to reference within their own courses and work material, or to sell on Amazon and bring new prospects into their ecosystem. Some people would even write the book in a weekend, and by next week they'd already used the book inside their marketing to help close more deals for their business. A theme that I see come up even today, five years later, is especially among those that are actual legitimate experts and practitioners, like doctors and plastic surgeons, who clearly know and understand their topic on a super deep level, still often aren't getting the content out to support their business the way that they know that they could be.
