Hey folks, I’m Courtney! I’m looking forward to learning from Carolyn and everyone else in the group. I’ve been doing curative Real Estate deals as an investor since 2017, but I’ve only recently started putting a more intentional focus on them. Historically, probate has been just one part of the curative work I’ve done. I’d estimate about 50-60% of my deals have involved probate in some way, but I haven’t had to do a ton of deep heir hunting. Many of my leads have come through referrals, so I’ve often had a contact or at least a solid starting point from day one. Most of my deals have been in Louisiana, with some in Mississippi. I now live in Central Florida and am diving deep into the greater Tampa Bay market while continuing to keep Louisiana as a primary. The more curative deals I take on, the more I realize just how powerful it is to be able to properly skip trace people, track down heirs, and build an accurate family tree. I’m always looking to expand my skill set, so I’m excited to sharpen those abilities, learn from everyone in the group, and hopefully contribute some of what I’ve learned along the way!
