This framework but other models...
I'm curious has anyone adapted or adopted this framework to work with any of the other Frontier models like Gemini, ChatGPT, Grok etc. If so what does this adaption look like? what did you do to make this work without having to recreate everything? I see a future where my root folder has a Claude.md, a Gemini.md etc and when i use that LLM and my folder structure it just works.....

Thanks @Rich C and @Kenneth Chiba, I'm pretty familiar with the framework and have implemented it with success in Claude. I was looking for real-world examples of how to port it to the other Frontier LLM's. @Rich C I'll look into the Agent.md file; that's a good start.
🌶️ CINCO DE MAYO FIRESALE — STARTS NOW 🌶️
Locked in for the next 5 days only. Ends May 5th at 10:00 AM EST. No exceptions. 🎉 Premium: $27 → $14/mo 🎉 VIP: $97 → $67/mo The closest you'll get to our original launch pricing. We're doing this because the community has shown up for us, and we want to show up back. 🤝 🔥 Already a member? Read this carefully. To lock in the new rate, you need to: 1. Cancel your current plan 2. Resign under the new price That's the only way the system can apply the new rate. We have way too many members for manual refunds, so we can't refund anyone who just signed up at current pricing. But the savings stack month over month, so if you plan to stick around (and you should 😁), the math works out fast. 🚫 A few ground rules: Please do not DM myself or Jake about pricing, exceptions, or extensions. We love you, but we're a small team and we need to stay focused on building. Everyone gets the same window. Everyone gets the same deal. If you miss it, you miss it. We'll do more things for the community down the road. ⏰ The clock: 🟢 LIVE NOW 🔴 Locks May 5th, 10:00 AM EST - Premium gets you The Vault and Afternoon Tea calls. - VIP gets you The Drawing Room, High Tea, and bespoke folder builds from Jake himself. If you've been on the fence, this is the moment. 🚀 Tag a friend who needs to be in here. Let's make Cinco a movement. 🎊 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Damn you for playing into my procrastination and making this impossible to pass up. 🤣
Who's here? Drop your intro.
Tell us three things: 1. What you do (job, industry, student, career-changer, whatever) 2. What brought you to Clief Notes 3. One thing you're trying to figure out right now related to computing or AI I'll respond to every single one. And read each other's intros too because the person who's stuck on the same problem as you might already be in this thread. I'll go first I am Jake, I have been working in tech for 15 Years, building with Generative AI for 3 Years straight now! Excited to teach and learn! That's it. Simple, scannable, gives you data on who's joining and what they need, and keeps the feed clear for content that retains people past week one.

Hi community! I'm Eric Ryan Jones. By day, I'm a product leader/manager for a thinking assessment company called Herrmann (home of the HBDI), where I'm using AI to bring better thinking to create a better world. At other times, I'm a partner to overwhelmed leaders of small- to medium-sized businesses, helping to upgrade their leadership, strategy, culture, and teams so they have the margin to do what they love, both personally and professionally.

@Jake Van Clief Oh, we have lots of ideas :) Happy to talk about them, just not in public :) DM a way to set up a meeting with you, or I can DM you mine. FYI, I'll be in Jacksonville at the end of April!
For the Noobs
No wiser words have been written... until you've gotten Jake's folder and file sys (ICM) down cold... one session = one project folder = one task Don't try to manage multiple tasks in one claude code session. Recipe for hallucinations, context bloat (and rot) and disaster.... Thxs @Millenial Cat This can also be said about all things AI

How do you handle folder structure for distinct roles? I server two roles where i do 80% product management and then 20% light coding and qa work. it's a context and mental shift to go between the two so i assume i'd need two workspaces but then i keep hearing jake say "keep it simple" and wonder if the ex-engineer in me is just trying to over engineer this....

@David Vogel perfect this is what i was thinking and wanted to make sure i wasn't breaking rules. i'll try the "role" level root folder way and if i find myself duplicating anything then i'll consolidate for sure.

As an ex-engineer, turned product manager, turned small business coach, this is awesome. One question i have for the community is when you are in a role that has multiple roles do you keep everything in one workspace or create multiple workspaces ans just switch between them? For example i spend 70% of my day in product, 10% in engeering and QA and 10% in coaching. Now, coaching is a different work stream altogether, so it makes sense to set it up as its own entity (there is zero overlap with product or engineering, as it's a different company). However, I could see on the other side that product and engineering have some crossover, but really, they are big context switches that engage with Claude differently, etc.
