My name is Eric Beachy, Part owner of a forklift repair shop. We have had success in hiring 3 techs this year. We were at 0 2 years ago so a big jump for us. None of them have came from the forklift repair industry. One was dirt work, auto, and fresh from high school. Our special sauce so far has been my partner is a excellent patience teacher. Also some great benefits. We have so far hired on "who" they are and not "what" they know. I believe our biggest frustration is as we reach out past our word of mouth and reach into the innerwebs for new hires. And prob 1000 other things we dont even know yet..:)
