The idea behind BizKids is pretty simple... We want to help kids become more capable by giving them real-world experiences. Starting a small business. Creating something they're proud of. Talking to customers. Solving problems. Learning that it's okay to make mistakes. Confidence isn't something we can simply give our kids. It grows when they discover for themselves what they're capable of. That comes from trying something new, stepping outside their comfort zone, and achieving something they never thought they could. That's what BizKids is all about. This community is where I'll be sharing ideas, behind-the-scenes updates as we build BizKids, and opportunities for kids and families to learn, grow and eventually get involved in BizKids Market events. I'm currently planning the future of BizKids and, rather than guessing what parents want, I'd love to build something that genuinely helps families. We already have the BizKids Markets... But what else? Using entrepreneurship as the vehicle, what else would help your kids learn those real life skills that can't get from a classroom? Imagine you have been a part of BizKids for 6 - 12 months. What would "success" or "progress" look like for your child? It doesn't have to be about business. It could be confidence, resilience, communication, independence, financial skills, problem solving... or something completely different. What would make you look back and think, "That was one of the best things we ever did for our child"? I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts.

We've got some exciting news! We're currently planning our first BizKids Market, with a proposed date of Saturday, 3rd October at Baillie Hill in East Victoria Park. At the moment, we're waiting on final approval from the local council, which can take up to 60 days. As soon as we receive confirmation, you'll be the first to know. While we are waiting we are still looking for other venues who are interested to host. Our vision is to create a fun, supportive environment where kids can: - 💡 Bring their ideas to life - 🛍️ Sell products or services - 😊 Build confidence by talking to customers - 💰 Experience earning their own money - 🌱 Learn real-world skills that last a lifetime This is exactly what BizKids is all about, learning through doing.
