Helping women understand menopause by connecting the dots between hormones, symptoms & everyday life

What label are you ready to stop giving yourself?
I am the worst person for doing this - berating myself when I have not been as productive as I needed to be, or took some rest because I was feeling tired, but there is enough external pressure in our lives to deal with, without our own narratives running the show. What are you telling yourself? Are you: Lazy? Overdramatic? Unmotivated? Forgetful? Too sensitive? Not yourself? Perimenopause can change how you feel, think, sleep and cope—but we often turn those changes into criticism of who we are. Today, complete this sentence: “I am ready to stop calling myself __________.” You are not failing. You are learning what your body needs now. 🤎

Your symptoms are useful data - not drama
A difficult day can be just a difficult day. But when the same exhaustion, anxiety, poor sleep or overwhelm keeps appearing under similar circumstances, it becomes a pattern worth noticing. For the next few days, pay attention to: • How you slept • Your stress levels • What you ate and drank particularly alcohol • Where you were in your cycle • Whether you exercised • How you felt physically and emotionally You don’t need to analyse everything or “fix” yourself. Simply notice. Clarity begins when we stop dismissing what our bodies are trying to tell us. 🤎

What was the first sign that made you wonder, “Could this be perimenopause?”
Not necessarily the most obvious symptom, the first little change that made you realise something felt different. Perhaps it was: • Waking at 3am • Feeling anxious for no apparent reason • Losing confidence • Brain fog • Becoming unusually irritable • Feeling disconnected from yourself Mine was definitely the brain fog, and an underlying sense of anxiety that I couldn't put my finger on. Share yours below. You may mention something another woman hasn’t yet connected to her hormones. 🤎

🔍 YOUR MENOPAUSE SYMPTOM TRACKER
One symptom tells us something. A pattern tells us much more. When you’re experiencing brain fog, poor sleep, anxiety, cravings, low mood, fatigue or changes in your cycle, it’s very easy to experience each one as a separate problem. But what happens when we start looking at them together? That’s where tracking can become incredibly useful. For the next 2–4 weeks, use this tracker to notice what’s happening with your symptoms alongside things such as sleep, stress, movement, food, alcohol and your cycle/HRT where relevant. Don’t try to be perfect. You’re collecting clues, not sitting an exam. 🕵🏻‍♀️ At the end of each week, ask yourself: What keeps happening together? What tends to happen before a difficult day? Are there days when I feel noticeably better — and what’s different about them? You don’t need to interpret everything yet. For now, we’re simply gathering information. Because one of the foundations of The CALM Method is something you’ll hear me say a LOT in here: Connect the dots. 🔍 Download your tracker below and let me know in the comments when you’re starting. 🤎 This resource is for education and self-reflection and isn’t intended to diagnose medical conditions or replace individual medical advice.
