How long after filling out the loan request form did it take to get the email about giving your direct deposit information? I filled it out over a week ago and nothing yetā¦

I just got an email 2 days ago about a notice of disbursement for my Pell Grant, but it goes directly to my school account for tuition and fees, per enrollment contract.

CS101
Is anyone else struggling to build code in CS101? Iāve been having to go thru line by line to get it to click. This week just hit different š
Then I was so paranoid, I did a practice review and aced the review the first time around. I recommend the practices if you havenāt tried them out! They really build your confidence.

Thanks! Glad Iām not the only one! I usually type notes, but for this week and the rest of the class, I am committed to old fashioned pen & paper and practice tests, I just feel like itās helping the concepts stick better. š

@Malik Davidson I can definitely relate to that. Our household is busy nonstop, so there are so few moments where I feel like I can really focus in. Most days, I get 5 minutes into a lesson before one of the kids comes barreling in being kids, so I get pulled away and feel like I have to start the lesson from the top. And YES! I am 8 weeks in and just found that āBreak it down like Iām 5ā yesterday! I was like errm, yes please š āImagine you have a toy box with colorful toysā¦ā lol but it seriously helped.

Live study reviews..
We need to level this up. Yesterday I went live to test out our study sessions, and one major issue came up ā nobody is getting notified when the live session starts. That completely defeats the purpose of us coming together to grow, stay accountable, and actually understand this material at a higher level. So hereās what weāre going to doā¦ We need better ideas. Better structure. Better execution. This isnāt just about āgoing liveā ā itās about creating sessions that actually help us win. I want everyone, especially my April 6 cohort (since weāre learning the same material), to start dropping ideas:ā¢ What would make these sessions more valuable?ā¢ What format would keep you engaged?ā¢ Do we want breakdown sessions, Q&A, accountability check-ins, or all of the above? On top of that, weāre going to test a stronger solution: Instead of relying on Skool notifications, letās try using Google Meet with our student emails so everyone actually gets alerts and can join easily. Iāll drop my email below ā go add me so we can start building this the right way and run a test session soon. Weāre not here to just āparticipateāā¦Weāre here to maximize this opportunity and separate ourselves. Letās build something that actually works. Award Letters
Am in Feb 2 cohort. Has anyone in any cohort recieved their award letters?

I'm an April cohort, but I'll lay out some steps to see if this is helpful to you! Open Maestro On the bottom left, it should have a circle, with your initial/pic, your name and email - select the circle to open My Account There should be a list starting with Profile - select Documents At the bottom it should say Tuition Package - go ahead and download it to open it (I saved mine as a PDF) The Tuition Package should list the awards that you received, but at the bottom in fine print, (in my letter) it does state that it is still pending approval from the ED Hope that helps!
