Calling All PMU Pros
Hey everyone, I’d love some advice on the best pigments you all use for melanin-rich skin tones when it comes to eyebrows.🤗

@Jaime Miller Nice 😊 those are really solid pigment lines both Permablend Luxe and Hanafy are known for good saturation and smooth healing results. Do you usually choose between them based on skin type, or do you have a go-to favorite for brows?

@Sogol Afjeh I feel like we could actually learn a lot from each other. Do you use telegram? @khelielweal It'd be nice to connect and share ideas.

@Van Tran Good morning 😊 It’s usually better to work section by section, and only reapply numbing when you notice the client starting to feel discomfort not wait until it becomes too painful. Just keep it balanced so the skin doesn’t get over-saturated, because that can also affect how the pigment holds. Do your clients usually get sensitive early or later in the procedure?

@Sogol Afjeh Good question 😊 Depth is actually more important than numbing, because numbing doesn’t change how the pigment should sit in the skin. In PMU, you still aim for the same correct layer the upper dermis. You’ll know you’re in the right depth when you get a soft, consistent pigment deposit without excessive bleeding or “blowout” of strokes/shading. If you go too shallow, the pigment will heal patchy or fade quickly. If you go too deep, it can spread and heal too dark/blurred. So the goal is always controlled, consistent pressure not deeper because there’s no numbing. Are you asking more about brows or lips?
Brand New
Hello, my name is Lori. I am in the beginning of my PMU journey. I had taken a 1 on 1 class which I was not very impressed with. I actually walked away having more questions than I went in with. It was very rushed as if I already knew what I was doing. I am so glad to have found this group. It looks very informative with much more information than I received in my one on one. I can't wait to dig into all of this great information Slesh has provided here.

@Selene Milloux I get that 😊 it can definitely feel confusing at first with so many different approaches and opinions out there. The good thing is you’re already trying and observing what works for you—that’s how you’ll eventually find your own rhythm and strategy. What part feels the most confusing for you right now?
help!!
Hi girls, I need more photos for my portfolio. Any ideas on how to attract more clients? I feel a bit lost, I've already made posts but I haven't had much success with them.

@Rose Sambolin I hear your point, and you’re right that marketing is a key part of getting consistent clients in PMU. If no one sees your work, it’s hard to build steady booking so visibility is definitely important. 📲 At the same time, many artists do start with organic content (Reels, Facebook posts, referrals) to build early traction before adding paid ads. It’s usually a combination of both organic trust + paid visibility that creates stability over time. What has been working best for you so far organic posts, referrals, or have you tried ads already?

@Georgie Melville That’s actually a really smart strategy 😊 Scarcity + local groups can definitely increase urgency, especially when people already trust the community or page. Have you noticed better results from that approach compared to posting on your own page?

@Mariam Tchikaidze Hey! 😊 I recently joined a FREE PMU training community and it’s actually packed with step-by-step tutorials, guides, and practice materials for beginners and advanced artists. They also do live trainings and challenges, which makes learning a lot more hands-on. 🎯 Are you already into PMU work, or still exploring it as a possible skill?

@Beatrix Stiller Aww I understand 😕 that can be really frustrating, especially after putting in the work and waiting for healing. Did it happen right after healing, or after the touch-up as well?
