I live in Germany and applied for an Amex card in the U.S. through the Global Transfer program. After three payments, the account was suspended. That was two months ago. Amex required a U.S. bank account that had been active for at least two months. Although I transferred funds via Wise, they did not recognize it as a valid U.S. bank account. I have a U.S. address, a U.S. mobile number, and an ITIN. I provided proof of address via Google Fi, and I have now held an account with Charles Schwab for two months. I would now like to try applying for an Amex Green again via Global Transfer. What is your recommendation?
