It won’t change that much apart from travelling more. In the sense if I’ll still go to the gym in the morning and write a few hours per day. But I’ll travel more, having more free time to do other things like new sports and activities. I’ll also start building a safer future for myself (investing in a house or finding a place where I want to settle). But not there yet.

@Dylan Singh Money. I also have a lot of things planned. But I’m planning to go to Bali at the end of August.
AI and Digital Nomadism
Hi all. Nice to meet you. First off- thanks Dylan for inviting me into this community! I am curious to hear what you all think- has AI impacted your lives as digital nomads at all? If so, how? If not, why not?

That is a very interesting topic. As a writer, AI has definitely changed the way I work. I can now write faster. Because I don’t have (or don’t allow myself) to have writer blocks anymore. I need books out there. As many (quality ones obviously) as I can write to be able to compete with the overflow of books entirely written by AI. So it has influenced my work. But necessarily the nomad life.

@Dylan Singh it can be scary but I think the key is to accept and learn about nowadays tools instead of acting if they were not existing at all.
Something that has come up a lot on my calls is freedom, I’m curious about your thoughts?
What does it mean to you and what’s the biggest thing holding you back from getting it?

I think the biggest thing is finance, isn’t it. And a job that allows you to create the life that you want. Sometimes your job offers you the financial security but you feel stuck and sometimes you have the job but not the money to move as you please. For me freedom is this. Being able to create a life, a routine that I would be happy to live every day. Enough money to pay what needs to be and a job I love that provides me with fulfilment. There was this quote “I want a life I don’t need a vacation from”. It says it all 😊🤗

Time flies. Changing life can be daunting. But it’s always scarier in our head that it is in real life. I wish I started sooner. But I needed to grow first. 😊
👋 Welcome to the community!
This is a space for digital nomads and remote workers to connect, share experiences, and talk openly about life on the road. To get things started, introduce yourself below: 1️⃣ Where are you currently based? 2️⃣ What do you do for work? 3️⃣ What’s the next place you want to travel to? I’ll go first: I’m Dylan, based in the UK 🇬🇧 Currently doing a PHD in travel and toursim. Interested in learning more about the digital nomad world and connecting with people living the lifestyle. Looking forward to hearing everyone’s story!
