Foraging holiday
I am going bush for a few days to complete a series of healers wananga (course, school, gathering of learning). It is a tapu (sacred) time with my mentors where I absorb the knowledge they hand down. We sit with the tress and observe their movements and the sounds the winds make as it passes through them. We will forage to restock supplies for our medicines, and I will listen and learn. There are no phones or access to the world where we go so please do not think I have disappeared. I will return with a revitalised spirit and some very cool stories no doubt! Be gentle and kind to yourselves. Be right back

Thank you for sharing this sacred journey with us. May your time be deeply nourishing, your listening clear, and your return filled with stories and renewed spirit.
Time travel..
If you were given the opportunity to time travel once...where would you go? and why?

If I could time travel once, I’d be torn between three pulls: - The past, to sit quietly in a moment I didn’t fully appreciate at the time. - The future, not to see what happens, but to glimpse the version of myself I’m still growing into. - Or maybe… to stay exactly here, in the present — because sometimes the deepest journey is learning to be fully where I already am.

@Penny Watts To answer your question:If I could revisit one moment, it would be after arriving and living in Paraguay for some months. I somehow knew, that I wanted to buy some land and start a life close to nature. Not to change the decision — it still feels right — but to feel again that total, trembling certainty, that surrender to a calling before the plans, the doubts, or the to-do lists began. What about you — does a particular moment call to you when you think of going back?

Im celebrating today and grateful that Ive been able to finish course 2 and I am very happy with it. I am now starting the 3rd and final course for Module 1 so bear with me whānau (family) as I create it. The next steps will be to start Module 2, be more present in the community and kick off the First Light and Aiā Healing collaborations. Sending everyone so much love and peace.

This space will be a safe space for my son to answer questions and speak on his experiences and challenges growing up. This will be a powerful resource for parents as it will come from a child's perspective. A child that knows and understands the intricacies of human development, a child that has been chosen by his tūpuna (ancestors) to be a healer through his craft. He too, like me and his big brother; have been gifted with knowledge generations old. Keidis is able to do this because he too is a healer and this is his duty. He is constantly working and forever in training just like me. He too will serve his people but on a much bigger scale. He currently attends Tipene-St Stephens Kura, a school for Māori boys where he boards full time. So when he comes home for his breaks we will endeavour to submit Q&A video s. Please, if you have any questions for him, leave them in a comment here and I will add them to my list.

Thanks for your work and this offer. I'm curious about the practical ways to explain and guide people through ancient methods, especially for a modern audience that primarily trusts conventional medicine.

@Penny Watts thank you, and would love to hear more "first encounters"-like stories...
Time..
Time is somehow alluding me lately. It is a crazy concept as I assumed I would have all the time in the world once I broke free from my 9-to-5 job but it has morphed into the exact opposite of my assumptions. I have come to realise how much I sacrificed for the job and am now re-building the life I had always tried so hard to work for., I was working in the wrong way though. And while the journey has been amazing and I've gained so much support through all my jobs, it's time to trust myself and be my own boss....growing old is the blessing...becoming wiser and more trusting of processes and self. I spent the last few days back in my Mothers homeland with our people reconnecting with them and I have come home with a stronger sense of purpose and direction, so to my community here on skool...please know that I am out here aligning everything to deliver the most beautiful and accessible healing space possible. Natural Healing Skool will be ever evolving and those that are here now get to see the birth of my very last baby...figuratively hahaha Discussions around these topics are important. Growing old gracefully, the assumptions of societal hierarchy for success, the realities of re-building your life, realising quitting a job is not the end but the beginning of something....so many discussion topics for our hub! Below ill put A few pics of my weekend. I took Aiā healing to Te Kūiti, King Country where my mother grew up. I will be introducing you all to Aiā Healing as we grow but there are links in my other posts that will take you directly to our instagram pages for now.
