I’m working on the Classroom section; what do you want help with?
Hey guys, I’m going to the wilderness for a few days, but when I return I plan on expanding the Classroom section. I currently have a bunch of draft modules almost ready to release, and I will add many more according to your suggestions. Post below if you have any feedback, ideas, or questions you’d like answered in the Course in the Classroom section. The core theme will be building your own personal Quantum Career Roadmap.

it would be cool to see what the different jobs are in quantum engineering and like a day to day of what they do
Senior Design Project Proposal
Hi everyone! I’ve received some questions about my project, so I figured I would share my major milestones about the project with you guys. I have attached my proposal for the project below.

Wow very thought out proposal thanks for sharing!
FYP Electronic engineering
Hello guys, I'm currently trying to brainstorm ideas for my final year project and thought it would be a good opportunity to try to connect it to a quantum related field but i am unsure how to also meet the criteria: Embedded system sensing, with a big research focus. I attached the lecturer's ideas below as guidance (I think idea 1,2,6 are best). Thank you in advance any ideas would help i am very stuck.

Thanks @Niko Cruz post is a great template for me. The requirements are an embedded systems project (could be microcontroller or fpga) that solves a problem but he wants a big research element, eg: one of the boys is researching a non invasive lung monitor using 60ghz ultrasonic sensor. I’m a bit worried I’m not as academically strong as Niko as I find it hard to follow his post even after contacting him to explain it to me haha but I'm willing to learn and would like to peruse a quantum related project for the year. Also a lot of the projects involve some sort of sensor, project idea 1 from the word file he gave us is a good example as well.

@Niko Cruz that would be very helpful thanks Niko
How did you first become interested in Quantum Computing in the first place?
What was your initial drive to want to build a career in quantum computing? It’s not like CS where it’s perceived as an “easy career that pays well”. For me, I started with the simple notion “I like computers, and quantum computing seems like a more interesting and advanced version of normal computers”. Of course my first inclination was a little naive, but that’s OK. It eventually grew into a genuine passion. I feel like everyone’s interests originate from some visceral and unconscious gut feeling and can build to a true passion with real experience. What was your gut feeling that has drawn you in to quantum computing? I shared my naive start, so it’s OK if yours is simple too.

I always liked the idea of creating something new and i heard about quantum computers a few months ago and the thought of innovation excites me
