She's finished 🤩
Could probably do with some blocking, but it's done, ends weaved in and everything!

Nice to see I'm not the only one carrying the last knitalong into the new one 😂 I'm about halfway through my second sleeve, so not far off - but I had to frog some today when I noticed a dropped stitch way too late! Back on track now, enjoying the ride again!

@Loronda Schuler I always say knitting/crochet is my way of slowing down in a world that doesn't let me slow down any other time :)
Not finished yet?
As an encouragement to anyone else also not finished-I’m not done either! I almost finished one sleeve only to realize that bc I have shorter arms I need to be doing the decreases much closer together so I don’t end up with super baggy sleeves by the end. I’m still working myself up to tearing that sleeve out and starting it over. Once I get that figured it should go fast though I hope!! Hang in there everyone!

I've just had to frog some of my sleeve too because of a dropped stitch I noticed way too late! You've got this! 💪
One sleeve done
While I'm a bit sad about this adventure coming to an end, I'm kind of glad the sleeves were the last clue because I was never going to finish them in a week. I had a couple of pretty intense weeks as well and needed a break from keeping track of 4 needles, stranded colourwork and decreases because my brain just wasn't up to the task. (this is when my scrappy granny square blanket comes out of the WIP basket) Anyways, I've just finished my first sleeve. I can see some tension issues, carrying floats between DPNs is quite tricky, but I hope blocking will make it a bit better. Now I just need to get over my Second Sleeve Syndrome 😜

Starting sleeves
Gosh this is tricky and there seems to be an awful lot going on 😅

@Fabienne Pottier they are basically straight needles that are pointed on both end so you can use them to work in the round. I don't get on with the magic circle, so I use them whenever my circular needles are too long for what I want to do. They take some practice and I'm finding it a bit tricky to manage my floats between needles but hopefully it will be OK
