MUST WATCH for all OLD MAC OWNERS
I just added YEARS to my tired and old MacBook Pro (2012) it's a horse of a machine but...Apple doesn't support it anymore. I wasn't able to download the software I need to do my work. Even Google Drive was telling me that it was about to stop supporting it.Which meant this (yes heavy) but perfectly fine piece of metal was destined to the dump. And I can't have that. Geek that I am (and VERY conscious of the environmental/wallet impact this would have) I set out to figure out if I could do something to breath some life into. And I'm happy to report I found it. There's a way to 'jailbreak' essentially a roundabout way to upgrade it. And I'm now writing this on my brand 'new' Sonoma (soon to be upgraded to Sequoia) computer. Never underestimate the power of a geek.T his is for you if you have a Mac 2008+ watch this video, it's not difficult to do. And don't thank me, you can buy me a coffee with the $ I will save you having to buy a new computer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8djeFJ1czU&t=322s

Fanfuckingtastic. Literally the drama of my week haha. Everything told me all at once that it would stop working and I needed to upgrade my system and when the upgrade wouldn't load I went to investigate and learned exactly this. Today my 'TO-Do' list task was to find the solution. Didn't know I would find it here when I opened the classroom. Thank you for sharing!
How to Organize the Chaos
Hey all. I am having so much fun learning about custom GPT and creating various writing styles and brand voices, however I'm not trying to drown in conversation feeds and scrolling back through chats to revisit ideas. Any suggestions or creative Ideas for how organize various outputs? I'm thinking a notion page or something. OR is there a way to get AI to do that too? haha Just curious how other people are navigating the volume and options to it actually results in massive productive creativity.

@Lauren deVane oh that sniped tip is awesome. I used sniped before I was more aquatinted with AI, saw the potential but didn’t really have a use case yet…might be time to revisit. Thank you!

@Emelie Sanders no worries, it seems the projects option in ChatGPT came just in time for me not to have to figure it out! Ha.
Writing Assistant
One of the first AI things I used was a couple years ago called JenniAI and it would suggest what could come next if you passed whole writing. It was incredibly helpful to keep the thought moving cause either it was great or it was shit which inspired me to write what would be great. However the ability to customize tone or project intent was no good, it wasn’t worth the price and often glitchy, so I kinda forgot about it. But now I’m really missing it. Do either GPT Or Claude have functions that could co-write like that? offer suggestion when you pause typing?
